Aries today

21 March – 19 April · ruled by Mars

Mars, your ruler, is at 15° Leo — your 5th house, pleasure and children.

What is actually happening

  1. The Moon is at 7° Taurus — your 2nd house

That is the house of money, what you own and what you are worth. The Moon spends about two and a half days in each sign, so this is the part of the chart that is lit today and will have moved on by the weekend.

  2. The Sun square Pluto

Exact 26 October at 12:11 UTC

The Sun keeps attention, vitality and what you are recognised for; Pluto keeps power, compulsion and what will not go back. The square is friction — two things that both want to happen and cannot.

  3. The Moon square Pluto

Exact 26 October at 04:44 UTC

The Moon keeps mood, the body's rhythm and what feels familiar; Pluto keeps power, compulsion and what will not go back. The square is friction — two things that both want to happen and cannot.

  4. Saturn, Neptune are in Aries

A planet in your own sign sits in the first house — your own body, appearance and what you begin. Whatever that planet keeps is closer to the surface than usual, and harder to keep out of view.

  5. Retrograde now: Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune

Mercury in your 8th house (shared resources); Venus in your 7th house (other people); Saturn in your 1st house (yourself); Uranus in your 3rd house (communication); Neptune in your 1st house (yourself). Retrograde motion is apparent, not real — the planet is not reversing, the Earth is overtaking it. Traditionally it marks matters that are revisited rather than settled.

Why this is not a prediction

Everything above is a position, an angle or a time — things that can be checked. What it does not contain is a forecast, because nothing in the arithmetic supports one. The Moon really is in your 2nd house today; what you do about that is not in the calculation.

The houses here are counted from your own sign, which is what a sun-sign horoscope can do without knowing your birth time. A real chart puts them where your Ascendant falls, which needs the minute you were born — no sun-sign page can do that, including this one.
